Holiday Food and Napa Valley Wine Pairings

The holidays are going to look a lot differently this year. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t celebrate the season with a close knit group of people or gift a bottle to someone you love. Below, we’re sharing a recap of some of the best wines from Napa and how to pair them this holiday season

Napa Valley Wine Pairings

Napa Valley Wine Pairings

Apps: Roasted Butternut Squash Soup is one of my favorite soups and a great way to start a meal. Pair this creamy soup with the 2018 Robert Mondavi Winery Napa Valley Chardonnay (SRP $24.99) that pairs nicely with the pineapple and lemon crème flavors of the sweet butternut squash.

Main: Enjoy Lemon and Herb Roasted Turkey this Thanksgiving, paired with 2018 Robert Mondavi Winery Pinot Noir Carneros (SRP $29.99). This rich Pinot Noir, filled with black cherry and plum flavors is the perfect compliment to a juicy turkey.

Main: Pair a Garlic Rosemary Prime Rib Roast with the 2018 Mount Veeder Winery Cabernet Sauvignon (SRP $44.99). A full and vibrant wine, it is filled with hints of nutmeg and vanilla bean that are a nice blend with the roast.

Holiday Wine Pairings Double Diamond

Main: Enjoy a hearty glass of 2018 Double Diamond Cabernet Sauvignon (SRP $80) with a savory Roasted Lamb with Garlic and Rosemary. The wine is filled with rich fruit-forward flavors and exotic spices that beautifully complement the roasted lamb’s herbaceous aromatics.
