There’s much excitement in the air with the upcoming holidays. Personally, I’m loving all of the local options to experience the best of the season without having to trek into the city. One event that’s on my radar is the 11th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival & Santa’s Village and Holiday Stroll that’s sure to be a blast for the whole family!
Starting on November 29th, the 11th Annual Greenwich Reindeer Festival & Santa’s Village takes place at the Sam Bridge in Greenwich. During this fun holiday event, the popular nursery will get transformed into Santa’s Workshop where families can have their photo taken with Santa, and explore Santa’s Village. This includes the chance to see reindeer, enjoy train and carousel rides and sample some grub from some local food trucks.
Additionally, the community is invited to Sam Bridge Nursery & Greenhouses for the “We’re Back” Party on Friday, November 29, from 12-6 PM, for the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with sponsors and public officials to officially open Santa’s Workshop for photos with Santa. While waiting for the reindeer to arrive, guests can enjoy refreshments from Planet Pizza, face painting, balloon art, and dance performances by Allegra Dance of Greenwich.
Photo packages begin at $29.99 and include a special Shop & Dine Greenwich Gift Bag filled with Greenwich merchant information and hundreds of dollars in savings redeemable at participating stores and restaurants in Greenwich.
