Everyone’s favorite groovy cat is back this fall with the musical adaption of Pete the Cat at BMCC.
Produced by TheaterWorksUSA, the story is based on the Pete the Cat series of books by Kimberly and James Dean featuring lyrics by Sarah Hammond and music by Will Aronson. It has original direction and choreography by Dan Knechtges with scenic design by Rob Odorisio, costume design by Jen Caprio, and orchestrations by Frank Galgano and Matt Castle.
When Pete the Cat gets caught rocking out after bedtime, the cat-catcher sends him to live with the Biddle family to learn his manners –– and boy are they square! But for the groovy blue cat, life is an adventure no matter where you wind up.
The musical is fun for all ages, but especially appreciated by ages 3 to 8.
