Your story is powerful. It’s time to tell it.
Join Tami McCarthy of KAHLO Collective and Serena Norr of Let’s Make a Play, a playmaking community for dreamers, creatives, the curious, and seekers who believe in community, collaboration, and telling stories from different perspectives to awaken and inspire, for a warm and welcoming evening of generative writing.
During this one-day workshop, you’ll be guided — via prompts — to kick-start your writing and have the opportunity to write freely on your own writing projects — or start something new — in a supportive, small group setting.
Event Outline (subject to change):
- Welcome and intention setting
- Prompt/warm up
- Free Write: We will provide a prompt but you can also use this time to work on your writing if you’d like.
- Sharing: You are not obligated to share. All participants will have the option to read their work should they want gentle feedback and any first responses/reactions from the group.
- Connect and Sip: Meet other local writers.
Space is limited. This is a safe and judgement-free zone. Writers of all ages (21 and up) and abilities are welcome.
