The producers of Be More Chill, Broadway’s new musical sensation now playing at the Lyceum Theatre (149 W. 45th Street), recently announced a Digital Lottery ticket policy for select performances of the show.
Beginning with the 7:00pm performance on Tuesday, April 16, a limited number of $40 tickets will be sold to winners of a Digital Lottery drawing. The Be More Chill lottery is powered by Shubert Ticketing through the Telecharge Digital Lottery platform, which provides theatergoers wide access to affordable tickets through multiple social media networks. For details and entrance to the digital lottery, visit BeMoreChillLottery.com.
Available performances will be posted on BeMoreChillLottery.com as early as 12:00am EST the day before the performance, and entry will close at 3:00pm. Winners will be notified the day before the performance in two groups, at 9:00am (with the ability to purchase until 3:00pm) and at 3:00pm (with the ability to purchase until 9:00pm).
Be More Chill features music and lyrics by Joe Iconis and a book by Joe Tracz, based on the cult sensation novel by Ned Vizzini. Stephen Brackett directs and Chase Brock choreographs.
What if popularity came in a pill? Would you take it, no questions asked? In Be More Chill, achieving that elusive “perfect life” is now possible thanks to some mysterious new technology-but it comes at a cost that’s not as easy to swallow. What could possibly go wrong? Blending the contemporary with retro sci-fi, this thrillingly exciting, comically subversive, and deeply felt new musical takes on the competing voices in all of our heads. And ultimately proves, there’s never been a better time in history to beyourself-especially if you’re a loser…geek…or whatever.
For details and entrance to the digital lottery, visit BeMoreChillLottery.com. Winners can purchase their tickets at BeMoreChillLottery.com and will pick up their tickets at the Lyceum Theatre box office with their credit card starting 30 minutes prior to showtime. Seats are limited to two per winner. Seat locations may be partial view, and the number of tickets awarded by the lottery are subject to availability. Blackout dates may apply.
Tickets may be in the balcony, mezzanine, or orchestra depending on availability. A limited number of $40 rush tickets will continue to be available for purchase in person on a first-come, first-served basis at the Lyceum Theatre box office for that day’s performance only.
