This year is going to be a completely different Mother’s Day. Peanut, the leading social network for moms of all kinds, understands that this year is going to be challenging, especially for those who are currently trying to conceive. Due to COVID-19, fertility treatments for thousands have been paused or cancelled, where women have to experience another element of hardship during an already trying time.
That’s why they launched a Mother’s Day film, made entirely from user-generated content, called “The Meaning of Mother’s Day,” available here.
The film centers around the challenges that face those trying to conceive and offers words of encouragement to prospective and current moms, no matter their circumstances. The film underscores Peanut’s mission to support every type of mom this Mother’s Day, whether they’re a stepparent, missing their own mothers, raising their own family or trying to conceive.
Additionally, Peanut launched their Trying To Conceive section on the app, which has become an incredibly popular community for women experiencing fertility challenges. During COVID alone, there’s been a 110% increase in comments on TTC as women seek support, advice and new connections.
