This week, we enjoyed seeing classic cartoon characters with a screening of Tom & Jerry Movie: The Fast & The Furry.
Before the movie, we made our very own drive-in car using an old cardboard box and a detailed car-making template. We had a blast placing the cut our parts around the box and then decorating/painting it. Not only was this a super creative activity, it was also inexpensive as we just used materials we had lying around the house.
After the car was completed, we took the sweet cardboard car out for a spin. My daughter also loved sitting as she watched the classic cat and mouse duo as they race around the world in Tom & Jerry Movie: The Fast & The Furry!
In this movie, Tom and Jerry enter an extreme car race competition called the “Super Race” in order to win the grand prize of a beautiful, dream mansion! Driving on some crazy hot rods that can adapt to any environment (land, sea or air), they compete in this wild race around the world, encountering famous landmarks along the way and leaving chaos in their wake.
