With spring break approaching in April and the pressure to entertain children mounting, The Rink at Rockefeller Center is offering deals for kids on the last days of the season.
Now through the last day of the skating season on April 25, there are opportunities for kids to skate free of charge, along with afternoon tea and skating experiences. Before the warm weather hits, lace up your skates for one last spin around the Rink!
Highlights at the The Rink at Rockefeller Center Include:
Spring Break “Kids Skate for Free” Special
● Kids skate for free every Monday (includes rentals and admission) now through April 22, when accompanied by a paying parent/guardian.
● Kids skate rentals are free (general admission ticket not included) during The Rink’s final week of operation for the season: April 18 – April 25.
Just mention “Spring Break” to receive this special during the dates listed above.
Afternoon Tea & Skating
● Whether it’s after school, as part of a weekend afternoon trip to the city, or during the upcoming spring break vacation, Afternoon Tea & Skating is a perfect mommy/daddy and me opportunity for kids (and kids at heart).
● At the Rock Center Café, snack on a variety of tea sandwiches including guest favorites like mozzarella and tomato jam on crostini, and ham and brie on a French baguette. Decadent desserts like a salted chocolate tart and red velvet cupcakes come in miniature form, allowing for that post-snack indulgence. All of this is accompanied by a selection of Harney & Sons Teas, hot chocolate with fresh whipped cream and Lavazza coffee (full menu here).
● Following tea, lace up your skates and take a spin around The Rink beneath one of the country’s most iconic sculptures, the gilded Prometheus.
● This classic New York experience is $45 for adults and $35 for children (plus applicable taxes) and only available until April 23, so guests are encouraged to book their reservations soon.
