It has been almost two years since we moved from Brooklyn to Westchester. And while we have done a ton of exploring, there’s still so much more left to see and experience in our area and the surrounding areas. One of my favorite parts of our exploration is discovering places that are a quick drive away. This weekend we did just that when we visited the gorgeous Rochambeau Farm, an organic garden and farm.
Located in Mount Kisco, you can find vegetables for purchase such as tomatoes, broccoli, garlic and more that all come straight from their garden. Prior to stocking up on veggies, my daughters and I walked around the property, petting and feeding some of the animals on the farm. This included baby pigs, goats, bunnies and horses that my daughters loved petting and feeding.
My favorite part of our visit was the beautiful and peaceful environment of the farm, as the girls happily danced, roamed and visited with the animals. In addition to the organic veggies, they also offer specialty products such as breads, pickles, crackers, jams, oils, jams and ice cream that we indulged in while soaking in the incredible views.
