Just as soon as one weekend passes by do I start thinking about the next one and what me and my little crew are going to. Living in New York there’s always something going on, especially in the summer months. The next weekend jaunt that I am really psyched about is Summer Streets, a free event where 300,000 plus people can enjoy six hours of outdoor activities in the NYC streets with no cars! How fun is that?! An annual event, this years Summer Streets takes place on Saturday, August 13 and 20 from 7am-1pm where people of all ages can enjoy tons of really cool activities like bike riding lessons, musical and dance performances, a zip line, dancing, helmet fittings, and much more! Oh, and don’t forget about the giant water slide that’ll you definitely want to get in on and reserve your spot!
