First-Time Ski & Snowboard Program

 First-Time Ski & Snowboard Program

Confession time: I’ve never skied before. Growing up in Brooklyn, I never had access to go skiing so it was never something I tried or even thought that I could do. Now that we live a further from NYC, it seems a little easier to access to the slopes and I’m actually interested in learning how and exposing my kids to this sport. A cool program with the Pennsylvania Ski Areas Association is also supporting first-time skiers with its  “First-Time Ski/Snowboard” program. The special program is ideal for those interested in taking up a new winter sport and simply an affordable way to get in shape and enjoy the great outdoors. With the holidays looming ahead and with it those excessive calorie-laden meals, now is the perfect time for families to sign up and commit to an active winter of fun on the Pennsylvania slopes.

The First-Time Ski/Snowboard program takes the hassle out of planning and makes it easy for beginners to hit the slopes for the first time. Available for $49, ski and snowboard newbies receive a beginner lift ticket, group lesson and complete rental equipment.  Quantities are limited, so it’s recommended to sign up early.  All orders must be received online by Dec. 30, 2016.  Purchase is limited to five vouchers per household. Vouchers can be used anytime, including weekends and holidays.
